Business Lead Wanted for Infinito.Nexus

The Infinito.Nexus team is looking for a Business Lead and additional support across the business side of the company.

This page provides answers to common questions for people interested in roles such as Business Lead, CEO, CMO, Business Development, Strategy, Operations, and related positions.

We are building the business side of Infinito.Nexus from the ground up and are looking for people who want to take responsibility, shape the company, and help scale it internationally.

We would be very happy to hear from you and explore how you could become part of the team.

What is Infinito.Nexus?

Infinito.Nexus is an source available platform for building and running your own sovereign cloud and digital workplace. It combines more than 75 integrated applications for office work, communication, project management, CRM, development, education, AI, automation, and more.

Its strength is not only the number of applications, but how they work together. Users get one identity and one login across the whole platform, creating one connected environment instead of many separate tools and accounts.

With Infinito.Nexus 14.0.0, AI also becomes part of your own environment and can support everyday work while your data stays under your control.

Infinito.Nexus competes with platforms such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, OpenDesk, and other enterprise cloud suites, but offers greater control over applications, data, identities, AI, backups, and infrastructure.

This matters for real data sovereignty. Under the US CLOUD Act, US authorities can under certain circumstances require US providers to provide data even when it is stored outside the United States. With Infinito.Nexus, organizations can choose their own infrastructure and providers and reduce dependency on foreign SaaS companies.

Its open source base also enables a low price strategy. Instead of paying separate subscriptions for many different services, organizations can run them together on shared infrastructure and focus costs on hosting, operation, and support.

In short: Infinito.Nexus combines more applications, deeper integration, lower costs, and greater digital sovereignty in one platform.

Responsibilities on the Business Side

We are looking for people who help turn Infinito.Nexus from a strong technical platform into a scalable company.

Depending on your role, your responsibilities may include:

  • Company Building: Help establish the company structure, processes, governance, responsibilities, and operating model.

  • Brand and Communication: Develop a clear market message around digital sovereignty, open source, AI, cost efficiency, and infrastructure independence.

Business Lead / CEO Focus

A Business Lead or CEO would take responsibility for connecting these areas into one coherent business strategy.

The role is not only about managing an existing organisation. It is about building the organisation itself, creating scalable structures, developing the market, managing key stakeholders, attracting customers and partners, and preparing Infinito.Nexus for international growth.

The main objective is simple:

Turn a technically scalable platform into a commercially scalable company.

Status

Team

The active Infinito.Nexus team currently consists of four developers working on the core platform, integrations, automation, AI capabilities, and infrastructure.

Product

Core

The core framework is operational.

Infinito.Nexus can deploy and operate a broad range of SaaS applications behind a shared identity and Single Sign On layer, with integrated AI, automation, cloud infrastructure, backups, and centralized management.

Infinito.Nexus Store

The planned release date for the Infinito.Nexus Store is October 15, 2026.

The Store is designed to allow organizations to order and automatically deploy a complete sovereign digital infrastructure, including applications, identity management, cloud infrastructure, and AI capabilities.

The long term goal is to make deploying a sovereign enterprise environment almost as simple as ordering a conventional SaaS product.

Business

Company Formation

Infinito.Nexus has not yet been formally incorporated.

One of the first responsibilities on the business side will therefore be to help establish the legal, financial, organizational, and operational structure of the company.

Funding

Infinito.Nexus currently has no external investors or institutional funding.

The project is not dependent on external investment to continue development. However, additional capital could significantly accelerate market entry, hiring, partnerships, sales, and international scaling.

Capital Requirements

Our current estimate for covering the main costs of the first year is approximately €2 million.

A leaner approach is possible, while additional capital would provide greater operational flexibility and allow faster scaling.

Our previous estimate of approximately €16 million is no longer representative. The expected capital requirement has decreased substantially due to automation, AI assisted development, and the ability to perform many operational tasks with a much smaller human team.

Pitch Deck

Our current pitch deck is outdated and is being replaced.

The legacy version is available here.

Business Plan

Our existing business plan is also being revised to reflect the current product, cost structure, AI strategy, and go to market approach.

The legacy version is available here.

Strategy

Go To Market

Our current go to market strategy consists of four main steps:

  1. Launch the Infinito.Nexus Store and make sovereign enterprise infrastructure directly orderable and automatically deployable.
  2. Build a team of AI agents that supports areas where dedicated human resources are not yet available.
  3. Establish pilot projects with NGOs and other organizations whose values align with digital sovereignty and human centered technology. Selected pilot organizations may receive infrastructure and support free of charge.
  4. Start customer acquisition in parallel through direct sales, partnerships, affiliate distribution channels, consultants, and relevant platforms.

The objective is to combine a highly automated product with scalable distribution channels.

Target Groups

Our initial focus is on startups, new organizations, and customers that do not yet have deeply established IT environments.

These customers can adopt a sovereign platform without first having to replace large amounts of legacy infrastructure.

Over time, the platform can expand into larger organizations, public institutions, regulated industries, and enterprise environments.

Stakeholder Management

We already maintain relationships with potential customers, partners, supporters, and other stakeholders in our CRM.

A major responsibility of the business team will be to develop these relationships systematically.

This includes:

  • qualifying potential customers
  • maintaining strategic relationships
  • identifying pilot organizations
  • developing partnerships
  • following up on existing opportunities
  • building distribution channels
  • managing key accounts
  • connecting technical capabilities with customer requirements

For a Business Lead, CEO, or senior business role, stakeholder management will be one of the central responsibilities.

Human and Agentic Organization

We are building Infinito.Nexus as an organization in which humans and AI agents work together.

AI allows a small team to perform tasks that previously required significantly larger organizations. We therefore intend to automate repetitive, scalable, and information heavy work wherever this improves efficiency.

Humans remain essential where judgment, responsibility, creativity, relationships, and contextual understanding are required.

Our organizational model is based on T shaped human teams supported by specialized AI agents across engineering, business development, marketing, operations, support, research, and administration.

The human capabilities we value most are:

  • Creativity
  • Critical thinking
  • Emotional intelligence
  • Responsibility
  • Adaptability
  • Intrinsic motivation

Formal degrees can be valuable, but demonstrated capabilities and the ability to operate effectively in a highly dynamic environment are more important.

Our principle is simple:

AI should increase human capabilities, while humans remain responsible for decisions and outcomes.

Scaling

The technical platform is designed to scale much faster than a traditional service organization.

Software, infrastructure automation, AI agents, and digital distribution can be replicated at very low marginal cost. The main scaling challenge is therefore not the software itself, but the human capacity required for relationships, consulting, specialized expertise, and regulated environments.

Our goal is to automate everything that can be automated while using human expertise where it creates the greatest value.

B and C Customers

For standardized business customers and private users, onboarding, support, documentation, configuration, and many recurring service processes can increasingly be handled by trained AI agents and automated systems.

Human escalation remains available for cases that require judgment or specialized expertise.

This enables the platform to support a large number of customers without increasing the support organization at the same rate.

A Customers

Large customers and highly regulated sectors such as critical infrastructure, defence, public administration, and other security sensitive environments require a different approach.

These customers often need individual architecture, compliance work, consulting, integration, security reviews, and long term account management.

For this market, we plan to build a specialized consulting and enterprise services organization.

This part of the business will scale more gradually because trust, expertise, certifications, and customer relationships cannot be automated to the same extent.

Quality

Quality and reliability are central to Infinito.Nexus.

Our development process combines extensive automation and AI assistance with human review and accountability.

AI can generate, analyze, test, and improve software, but humans remain responsible for understanding and approving changes before they become part of the platform.

Our principle is:

Humans use AI. AI does not replace human responsibility.

Code changes are reviewed, tested, and challenged before integration. Engineers must be able to explain the architecture, consequences, and reasoning behind the changes they approve.

This allows us to benefit from the speed of AI while maintaining human oversight and engineering discipline.

Pricing Strategy

Infinito.Nexus is designed around a fundamentally different cost structure from many traditional SaaS platforms.

A large part of the software stack is based on open source technologies, while deployment, integration, maintenance, and operations are heavily automated.

Instead of requiring customers to purchase separate subscriptions for dozens of services, Infinito.Nexus can provide a broad integrated environment on shared infrastructure.

This gives us the potential to pursue a low price, high functionality strategy.

Our competitive advantage is based on the combination of:

  • more than 75 integrated applications
  • one identity and Single Sign On environment
  • centralized AI capabilities
  • automated deployment and operations
  • infrastructure independence
  • digital and data sovereignty
  • low marginal software costs
  • reduced dependency on per user SaaS licensing

The objective is not simply to be cheaper.

It is to offer more functionality, deeper integration, greater sovereignty, and a highly competitive total cost of ownership.

As automation improves and the customer base grows, we expect the cost per deployment and per supported customer to decrease further, creating room for competitive pricing while maintaining a sustainable business model.
